Chosen amongst several high-class EU grant project, SPIDIA4P won the
Standard + Innovation Project Award by CEN and CENELEC for its important contribution
of research and innovation to standardization in October 2021!
What a big acknowledgement!

SPIDIA4P was chosen to be one of the 3 sucess stories showcased in the EU Standardization factsheet, published by the European Commission on the World Standards Day on October 14, 2020!

A great recognition of the work and importance of the SPIDIA4P consortium and its efforts to standardized the pre-analaytical phase and hence reducing the diagnostical errors!

Dr. Uwe Oelmueller, Coordinator of SPIDIA4P, received the Standards + Innovation Technical Body Officer Award 2019 by the European Standards Committee CEN and CENELEC.

As Convenor of CEN/TC 104/WG3 "Quality management in the medical laboratory" and of ISO/TC 212/WG4 "Microbiology and molecular diagnostics, Dr. Oelmueller ist the driving force
behind translating research and industry needs in highly innovative fields into standard documents (CEN/TS, EN, EN/ISO), achieving significant impanct in healthcare and diagnostics.

In 2017, Dr. Uwe Oelmueller, Coordinator of SPIDIA4P, was honoured for comprehensive merits on European and

International pre-analytical standardisation with the "DIN Golden Honorary Needle"!

In 2016, Dr. Uwe Oelmueller got the DIN 2nd Award for Use of New Standards!
