The latest set of the NIH funded US GTEx consortium studies was recently published

These studies present a comprehensive atlas of genetic regulatory variation across cell types and tissues and an analysis of how these changes in regulation can contribute to risk for disease and the development of traits, was recently published.  The GTEx consortium used the PAXgene Tissue technology and thereon developed products to collect, preserve and process tissues under highly standardized pre-analytical conditions. The PAXgene Tissue technology was developed by SPIDIA. SPIDIA closely cooperated with the US National Cancer Institute (NCI/NIH) on this technology and supported the GTEx consortium via its Partner PreAnalytiX.
